## Description

Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing a consistent and exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing food quality and freshness, and executing various tasks to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operation

- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage Standards

- Execute food and beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and inventory management

- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines

- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time

- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards

- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications

- Follow all food safety requirements and complete cleaning tasks as outlined in best practices

- Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process according to best practices

- Ensure accurate inventory management and execute sampling best practices

- Complete all required training requirements and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with all safety policies and best practices

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up

Requirements:

- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

- Ability to communicate effectively and operate technology equipment

- Capability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

- Access to all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues

- Interpret instructions, reports, and information

- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed

- Climb up and down ladders if needed

- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely

- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
