## Description

We are seeking a Shop / Café Assistant to join our team at Richmond Village Letcombe Regis.

As a Shop / Café Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:

- Setting up tables in the restaurant and café

- Serving in the restaurant and café at mealtimes

- Preparing trays and providing room service to village residents who wish to stay in their rooms for meals

- Serving drinks at the bar as required (applicants must be over 18 years old)

- Ensuring the restaurant and café meet high standards and are tidy

- Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy

- Supporting other areas as required, such as serving meals or delivering refreshments

- Working in the onsite shop

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- A background in customer service, potentially with experience in catering or kitchen roles (training is provided)

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work in a team setting and engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds

- Commitment to providing outstanding service to our residents

- Ability to uphold a clean, orderly, safe, and sanitary environment
