## Description

LSEG is looking for a Business Lawyer to join their Data & Analytics (D&A) business across the Americas region.

The successful candidate will provide legal and regulatory support to the sales, product, and business leadership teams in Americas.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting product-led transformation initiatives for the Legal & Compliance function in Americas

- Providing legal and regulatory support to the sales, product, and business leadership teams in Americas

- Guiding the collection, usage, and licensing of content, data, and news, and responding to legal inquiries

- Collaborating with specialist lawyers and Compliance professionals to implement internal controls

- Coordinating with team members on product and business advisory to support organizational transformation

The ideal candidate will have:

- A law degree from an accredited law school

- Qualification to practice in the US (NY Bar preferred)

- Experience in providing legal guidance on ad-hoc and strategy-led projects

- Outstanding knowledge of multi-jurisdictional contracting requirements

- Excellent ability to articulate legal concepts clearly and concisely

- Sharp attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
