## Job Overview

As a Senior Customer Engineer, Strategic Pursuits, APAC, you will work as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to a focused portfolio of Cloudflare's most important accounts.

## Responsibilities

- Provide strategic account technical leadership: own technical relationships and account strategy for a focused portfolio of strategic customers; align architecture and engagement plans to customer priorities and Cloudflare opportunities.

- Build executive and stakeholder partnerships: establish trusted relationships with technical and executive leaders; lead strategic discussions, briefings, workshops, and reviews that connect technology decisions to business outcomes.

- Design enterprise architecture and transformation: develop Cloudflare architectures and phased roadmaps for complex environments, identifying cross-platform opportunities and dependencies.

- Lead opportunity shaping and technical validation: guide discovery and technical validation with account teams, including solution narratives, demonstrations, proof-of-concept plans, and resolution of complex objections.

- Drive adoption, value realization, and risk management: coordinate internal teams and partners to support deployment, track customer outcomes, and address adoption risks.

- Focus on commercial outcomes and expansion: connect adoption to retention, renewal, and expansion; identify cross-sell opportunities and contribute technical insight to account and commercial planning.

- Orchestrate cross-functional teams and advocate for customers: mobilize Cloudflare experts around customer priorities, represent customer needs internally, and share product feedback.

- Improve AI and workflows: utilize AI and internal tools responsibly to enhance research, analysis, documentation, and routine work.

- Develop enablement and reusable knowledge: create and share technical resources, architecture patterns, workshops, and lessons learned for use across strategic accounts.

## Requirements

- Significant customer-facing technical experience supporting large, complex enterprise or strategic accounts.

- Ability to build lasting technical and executive relationships, influence decisions, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

- Skill in designing and explaining enterprise network, application, and security architectures, including trade-offs and migration considerations.

- Deep knowledge of Cloudflare's product suite and the wider security, networking, and cloud landscape.

- Strong discovery, listening, facilitation, and presentation skills; able to communicate with engineers and C-suite leaders.

- Understanding of enterprise sales cycles, account planning, SaaS value realization, renewals, and expansion.

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.

- Willingness and ability to travel extensively for strategic engagements and industry events.
