We're on a mission to make money work for everyone.

As a Finance Forecasting Modeller, you will join our Capital, Impairments & Forecasting team, which sits at the intersection of our Borrowing and Finance collectives.

The role involves developing, executing, and managing models used to calculate IFRS 9 ECL and credit risk capital through the annual ICAAP.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting with continuous improvement of forecasting models

- Developing best practices for financial modelling across Monzo

- Presenting forecast model results to senior management

- Collaborating with portfolio strategy, model validation, finance, and external audit teams

Requirements:

- Background in financial forecast modelling or execution

- Strong analytical skills and experience delivering technical projects

- Solid technical toolkit, including SQL and Python

- Ability to convey complex issues and priorities to non-experts

- Impact-driven and eager to have a positive impact on the company

Nice to have:

- Experience working in regulatory stress testing exercises

- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, dbt, BigQuery SQL, Anaplan, and Github
