## Description

As a Retail Banking Analyst Apprentice at Barclays, you will participate in the day-to-day activities of the retail banking division, providing insights and expertise to help senior colleagues make informed decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Executing small research projects to support strategic decision making

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives

- Identifying opportunities and developing business cases for new products and services

- Managing client relationships and providing customer service support

- Developing and implementing financial models and strategies

- Training and mentoring junior colleagues

As an analyst, you will be expected to:

- Meet the needs of stakeholders/customers through operational excellence and customer service

- Perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard

- Take responsibility for customer service and operational execution tasks

- Identify escalation of policy breaches as required

- Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls
