## Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Trowbridge Oaks Care Home. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering an excellent dining experience for our residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Acting as the link between the main kitchen and our residents

- Assisting the chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys, and ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy

- Monitoring stock rotation, complying with company policies and procedures, and following all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines

- Assisting with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen

- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with the wider kitchen and care home teams
