## Description

As a Product Design Intern at Databricks, you will join a team that works diligently to understand and solve our customers' most challenging problems.

You will learn how to be a successful product designer at a high-growth enterprise technology company that operates at the important intersection of data and AI.

You will have a dedicated mentor and will join our 2026 intern cohort where you'll connect with product managers, engineers, designers, account teams, other interns, and leaders from across the company.

This is a 12-week paid summer internship program.

The impact you will have:

- Work with a cross-functional team to build features for the Databricks platform

- Manage your project end-to-end, from discovery and ideation through final design prototype for engineering to implement from

- Conduct research with customers to better understand their needs and improve your design

What we look for:

- Pursuing a degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028

- Excellent interaction design skills with knowledge of user-centred design methodologies and usability

- Proven ability to efficiently build interactive prototypes leveraging the latest in AI tooling

- Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions and conduct basic usability testing and semi-structured interviews

- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex topics simple and clearly communicate nuance to partners

- Excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team

Pay Range Transparency: Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $34-$42 per hour.
