## Description

As a Solutions Engineer, you will focus on understanding customers' business drivers, goals, and challenges and translate them into a differentiating improved technical architectural roadmap based upon Cisco's solutions.

You will bridge the gap between customer needs and Cisco's technology solutions by co-designing and optimizing solutions that drive customer success and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers

- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them achieve their goals by sharing technical knowledge and guiding them throughout the solution lifecycle

- Drive customer technology transitions and influence solution architectures

- Lead solution design across multiple technology domains, connecting customer business requirements to technical architectures that drive measurable outcomes

- Participate in presales activities, including RFI/RFP responses, reviewing and creating proposals, and positioning Cisco's value in outcome-based solutions

- Understand customer markets and industries to identify growth opportunities, risks, and mitigation plans

- Advocate for current and emerging technology solutions relevant to customer success

- Collaborate across the full solution lifecycle

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

- Experience in a customer-facing technical role

- Demonstrated design-level expertise in at least two of the following domains: Enterprise Networking, Network Security, Data Center, Collaboration, or Observability/Assurance

- Validated experience designing end-to-end architectures that span multiple technology domains and translating them into business outcomes

- Experience contributing to or leading the technical side of the sales cycle

- Proficiency in written and spoken English and French

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in presales and solution design

- Ability to handle sophisticated projects and customer relationships

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Track record of staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
