## Description

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Application Engineer to join our team in Elsbethen, Austria. As a Senior Full-Stack Application Engineer with a focus on data, you will develop and operate reliable applications that support drivers, coaches, and performance experts in training and racing.

You will work closely with our Pro Cycling Team and the Red Bull Sports Data Platform team to create tools that provide valuable insights and support better decision-making.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, operate, and improve applications for drivers and employees, including performance dashboards, race day tools, and planning solutions for team time trials.

- Collaborate with the data science team to integrate scientific models into deployable tools, ensuring technical implementation and reliability.

- Work with coaches, data scientists, and performance experts to translate practical requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Ensure high standards of code quality, code reviews, and documentation to maintain long-term maintainability.

- Utilize existing infrastructure-as-code foundations, CI/CD pipelines, and container-based solutions for application deployment and operation.

Requirements:

- Completed studies in IT or equivalent professional experience.

- Fluent English and good German language skills.

- At least three years of relevant experience in full-stack software development, data-driven application development, or a comparable technical role.

- Strong ability to collaborate with coaches, data scientists, performance experts, and platform teams.

- Proven experience in developing production-ready full-stack applications with a focus on reliability, user-friendliness, and long-term maintainability.

- Solid knowledge of backend development with Python, FastAPI, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and REST API design.

- Practical experience in frontend development with React, Vite, TanStack Query/Table, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI/shadcn, and Progressive Web Apps (PWA).

- Secure handling of SQL, BigQuery, dbt-modeled datasets, and APIs.

- Practical cloud and DevOps experience, ideally with GCP, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform foundations, and GitHub Actions/CI/CD.
