As a Rekenkundig Expert, you will calculate damages after injury or death caused by an accident, occupational disease, or medical error. You will analyze hypothetical earning capacity and determine the present value of future damage costs.

Your tasks will include:

- Conducting actuarial analyses of loss of earning capacity

- Calculating future costs such as household assistance or aids

- Working with specialized calculation software, taking into account interest rates, inflation, and other economic factors

- Reviewing annual accounts and assessing the viability of businesses for self-employed individuals without income protection in case of disability

- Visiting entrepreneurs, examining drivers and ambitions, and advising on improvements in business operations and employability

You will work in a small, close-knit team of two Rekenkundig Experts who will guide and train you. You will also collaborate with colleagues from Personal Injury, Healthcare Damage, and our Occupational Experts.

Requirements:

- A positive and collegiate attitude

- A service-oriented mindset and commercial acumen

- Empathetic abilities

- Insight into the position of the accountant within damage handling

- A completed higher education degree in finance or economics (Business Administration is a plus)

- Proficiency in Dutch and English

- Affinity with numbers

- Experience with MS Office, especially Excel

- Strong digital skills
