## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President to join our Credit Risk Management team in Mumbai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporates, banks, NBFIs, insurance companies, and mutual funds.

Key responsibilities include:

- Approving counterparty credit exposure limits for transaction banking products and FX hedging/derivative products

- Writing credit reports and assigning internal credit ratings for clients

- Monitoring performance of companies and sectors, and making changes to ratings and limits as necessary

- Ensuring effective utilization of the bank's capital at the client level

- Providing regular management information to senior management on portfolio composition and account status

- Supporting regulatory tasks and portfolio management-related activities

The ideal candidate will have:

- Postgraduate-level qualifications in business or finance (e.g., CA, CWA, MBA, FRM)

- 3-6 years of experience in credit risk management in wholesale banking

- Strong technical and analytical skills, with a good understanding of key products such as financings, trade finance, and global markets

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proven ability to make time-sensitive credit decisions
