As a System Test Automation Engineer in the HPE Hybrid Cloud team, you will lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results.

**Responsibilities:**

- Design limited test scenarios and enhancements for portions and subsystems of systems software

- Analyze design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities required

- Execute and write portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation

- Participate as a member of project team to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions

- Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners

**What you need to bring:**

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

- Typically 2-4 years experience

- Proficiency in Python programming/automation

- Strong fundamental understanding of enterprise-level storage solutions

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Designing software systems running on multiple platform types

- Software systems testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
