## Description

IONL offers grants to support nursing leadership research and organisations improving nursing in Indiana.

The IONL License Plate Fund supports research and educational priorities of IONL, allocating proceeds to individuals and organisations statewide.

## Eligibility and Application

### Nursing Leadership Research Grant

To apply, you will need to submit:

- Completed License Plate Grant Application form

- Research focusing on Evidenced Based Practice or Leadership

- Research proposal (max 10 pages) outlining topic, background, methodology, and dissemination plan

- Proof of IRB approval or expected approval date

- Short bio-sketch (max 2 pages) for each research team member

- Two letters of support

- Completed IONL Grant Budget Worksheet

### Leadership Education and Organisation Grant

To apply, you will need to submit:

- Completed License Plate Grant Application form

- Organisation description, including mission and values

- Description of how funds will be used

- Completed IONL Grant Budget Worksheet

## Timeline

- June 1, 2026: IONL License Plate Grant Program call for proposals opens

- July 30, 2026: Grant Application closes

- August: Grant applications reviewed and recommendations made

- September 23-25: Selected Grant recipients notified at the Fall Conference

- January 2027: Funds distributed to chosen organisations and nurse researchers

- June 2027: Mid-term report due

- September 2027: Nursing Research Grant recipient presents research at Fall Conference

- December 2027: Final report due
