## Description

We are seeking an Engineer to join our Trend Brain team, which builds intelligence gathering and research automation tools to enrich and accelerate the design process at Target.

As an Engineer, you will serve as a technical specialist delivering the engineering that powers the product. You will develop keen insight into the technical architecture and design to deliver robust and scalable software components.

Responsibilities:

- Integrate new sources of trend signal into our automated multi-agent trend-sensing ecosystem.

- Implement, deploy, scale and maintain agentic workflows in partnership with data scientists.

- Provide a combination of traditional and agentic capabilities to Target's merchants, trend researchers and designers.

- Ensure that our rapidly growing trend research ecosystem produces consistent, actionable, transparent results.

- Help our team stay abreast of a rapidly evolving GenAI ecosystem.

Requirements:

- 4 year degree or equivalent experience

- 1+ years of software development experience

- Demonstrates familiarity with current and emerging technologies

- GenAI experience

- Proficiency in at least one computer language, preferably Python

- Knowledge of different persistence and indexing strategies

- Understanding of distributed programming concepts
