## Description

We are seeking an Automated Dispensing Unit (ADU) Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Omnicare. As an ADU Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients.

**Job Purpose and Summary:** As an ADU Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for managing all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately. You will also serve as a liaison between our clients and the pharmacy, providing ongoing client support to help identify opportunities to drive customer satisfaction.

**Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:**

- ADU Support (70%): Restocking and destocking ADUs with medication, completing monthly medication audits, maintaining ADU software and user databases, reviewing ADU reports for discrepancies, and training facility staff on ADU operation.

- Pharmacy Technician (20%): Partnering with function supervisors to coordinate workflow, preparing and processing medications, performing compliance tasks, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

- Customer Service/Liaison (10%): Interacting with facility staff and leadership to deliver messages and solicit feedback, assisting in tracking in-facility equipment, and logging issues into our central database.

**Requirements:**

- High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED) required.

- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.

- 1-3 years of prior relevant work experience preferred.

- Current, valid driver's license in the state at the level required for the vehicle's operation.

- Ability to drive for long periods of time.
