## Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join our team at Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will provide engineering maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital cluster, as well as technical, health, safety, and environmental support to ED's and local hospital managers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing engineering maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital cluster

- Offering technical, health, safety, and environmental support to ED's and local hospital managers

- Assisting engineering technicians and assistants in carrying out their roles

- Liaising with hospital operations managers to ensure adequate engineering cover

- Line managing site-based engineering operatives

- Ensuring planned preventative maintenance routines are completed

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- A current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at the appropriate level of qualification

- City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

- A time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical engineering

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organisational and time management skills
