## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and support. You will assist with exercises, treatments, and modalities, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes Conduct exercises and treatments as directed by the physical therapist Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Post-secondary certificate or degree in physical therapy assisting preferred Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Illinois Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting Certification in CPR and first aid Bilingual or multilingual skills
