## Description

We are seeking a Security Officer to assist with the smooth running of our shopping street and back of house areas at Multrees Walk Shopping Centre in Edinburgh. As a Security Officer, you will provide visible security cover, handle enquiries and customer concerns, monitor CCTV, and control contractors and deliveries.

**Main Duties**

- Work varying shifts, including 7am-5pm or 11am-9pm, 5 shifts over 7 days, 40.5 hours per week

- Undertake regular patrols of the Centre as instructed by the Centre Management

- Carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Centre Management

- Comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the centre

- Ensure that the requirements of the Fire regulations are strictly complied with

- Record all incidents in Daily Occurrence Register and write detailed incident reports

- Control contractors and deliveries to the premises

- Provide excellent customer service

**Requirements**

- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence

- Previous experience in a security role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong customer service focus

- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Good observational and report-writing skills

- Ability to work a flexible shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays

- Basic IT literacy
