## Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: CTO Data Technology

Principal responsibilities:

- Build and deliver high-quality big data pipelines to drive business value.

- Solve complex technical challenges, optimise product performance, and ensure scalability.

- Ensure data pipelines and systems meet quality standards and implement robust testing processes.

- Continuously refine procedures and systems for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that align with organisational goals.

Requirements:

- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or data analysis.

- Proven hands-on experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark).

- Knowledge of banking data domain, especially on core banking systems and corporate/Institutional sectors.

- Familiar with Python, Scala or Java programming language.

- Demonstrated success in delivering complex enterprise-level Big data projects.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a structured and analytical approach to challenges.

- Passion for technology, with a proactive approach to learning and innovation.

- Ability to balance creativity with pragmatic solutions to address business and technology challenges.
