## Description

Priory Hospital Middleton is looking to recruit a Night Manager to join the team. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, offering a salary of £48,548 per annum.

The Night Manager will provide clinical management and leadership to the nursing team on site throughout the night shift, ensuring the highest standards of nursing care are maintained. The role involves managing the hospital site and resources, overseeing staffing levels and skill mix, and providing advice and support to the nursing team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing the hospital site and resources effectively

- Ensuring that all members of the night time nursing team receive clinical supervision, appraisal, CPD requirements and complete mandatory training

- Addressing shortfalls in development and ensuring that training and performance issues are addressed

The ideal candidate will have:

- Current registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council as a first level nurse (RMN or RNLD)

- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory capacity

- Post registration experience ideally of working in more than one of the clinical areas provided at the hospital

- Experience of working as a Ward Manager / Deputy Manager / Senior nurse or equivalent role

- Sound working knowledge of the Mental Health Act

- Ability to undertake physical requirements of PMVA
