As a System Administrator – Server & Clients, you will be responsible for the engineering-related maintenance of the server and client landscape of Vattenfall Wasserkraft GmbH, including monitoring.

Your key responsibilities:

- Carry out repairs and improvements within the server and client landscape at all locations of Vattenfall Wasserkraft GmbH

- Identify and implement measures to ensure technical safety and availability, as well as to secure and increase plant stability and effectiveness

- Contribute to the planning and implementation of plant changes and optimisations

- Manage costs for the assigned/approved budget

- Be responsible for service partner management for engineering services

- Participate in/ take over acceptance, commissioning, and expert release of constructed and repaired plant parts

Requirements:

- Completed degree in computer science or a related field, or a comparable qualification in IT project management

- Professional experience in client-server structures under Windows and Linux, syslog, monitoring, WSUS, backup and virus protection, virtualisation environments (ESXi, VMware), NAS, AD, asset and vulnerability management

- High level of reliability, sense of responsibility, assertiveness, organisational and teamwork skills, resilience, and the ability to make short-term decisions

- Driver's license class B

- Knowledge of KRITIS requirements for power generators is desirable
