## Description

The School of Business and Management at HKUST is seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead its Technical Team as a Manager.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing the technical team to provide support and consultation services to faculty and staff

- Overseeing computer upgrades for the Dean's Office

- Managing network infrastructure and file servers

- Coordinating facility upgrades for school renovations

- Maintaining the computation environment and database subscriptions for faculty research

- Managing audiovisual facilities in classrooms and meeting rooms

- Collaborating with ITSO on network security and infrastructure upgrades

- Managing the E-lock Door Access Control System

- Acting as Inventory Controller for the School

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in IT or related disciplines

- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in IT or technical support with supervisory duties

- Strong IT skills, including programming and various computer applications

- Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)

- Excellent communication, project management, and supervisory skills

The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and a gratuity upon successful completion of the contract.
