## Description

We are looking for a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, California. In this role, you will be responsible for Full Cycle PCB design including collecting requirements, schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, test, debug and integration with the system.

You will work with a cross-functional team to design market leading hardware products. This involves driving product maturity through rapid prototyping, design verification, and qualification activities. You will apply modern design standards and guidelines to create high-reliability, highly manufacturable assemblies. This includes implementing combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs.

As a Staff Electrical Engineer, you will lead the team in establishing internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication and assembly outputs. You will conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews. You will also be responsible for low level firmware development for bring-up and test, and root cause analysis in support of production operations.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, having to juggle multiple concurrent projects and customers. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

Required qualifications include currently possessing and being able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance, 12+ years of professional experience in hardware product development, a full understanding of PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements, and the ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design.

Preferred qualifications include understanding of MIL-STD-810 and relevant military environmental qualification standards, and understanding of MIL-STD-461 and relevant military electromagnetic compatibility standards.

The salary range for this role is $191,000-$253,000 USD. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, income protection, generous time off, family planning and parenting support, mental health resources, professional development opportunities, commuter benefits, relocation assistance, and a retirement savings plan.
