## Description

We're looking for a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will work collaboratively within Ford and multiple mod center and supplier partners to launch specialty vehicle programs and accessories for body exterior, body interior, and electrical for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles for Ford Blue and Model-e programs.

Your primary focus will be on improving supplier quality and reducing quality rejects (QRs). This involves leading process improvements, analyzing warranty concerns, and ensuring data accuracy related to QR/PPM. You will also be responsible for containment and problem resolution, acting as a bridge between the plant vehicle team (PVT), STA, and plant management, providing updates on supplier-related quality issues and participating in quality meetings.

To succeed in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related STEM field, and 4+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, problem-solving tools (Six Sigma, DOE, 8D, 5 Why, etc.), and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
