## Description

Toast is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead its Lending efforts as part of the Embedded Finance team.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and building innovative financial products and features that help restaurant owners access the funding they need to start, run, or grow their business.

Key responsibilities include:

- Owning the product roadmap for Toast Capital, the company's flagship lending product

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Credit, Capital Markets, Legal & Compliance, Data Science/AI, Marketing, Operations, Payments, and Finance

- Creating and presenting business cases and business models for new product investments

- Writing technical and non-technical user stories, defining requirements, workflows, and wireframes in collaboration with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and other teams

- Managing the backlog of an established engineering team, defining roadmap requirements, and facilitating agile ceremonies

Requirements:

- 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of driving strategy, execution, and impact for B2B products

- A passion for innovating in financial services and desire to transform the restaurant and hospitality industry

- Experience managing products from their early inception to measurable post-launch success

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on communicating roadmaps, tradeoffs, and technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders

- High EQ and skilled at building and maintaining relationships with engineering and design teams

Nice to have:

- First-hand experience with lending

- Experience working with fast-growing teams and hyper-growth companies

- Experience delivering products powered by machine learning models

- Experience incorporating legal and regulatory oversight into consumer or business products

Toast offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a base salary range of $159,000-$254,000 USD, depending on skills, experience, and geographic location.
