## Description

We are seeking a Guest Advocate (Cashier) to join our team at Target. As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience. You will greet guests, help them find what they need, and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

- Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience

- Greet guests and initiate a warm, helpful interaction

- Help guests find what they need and resolve issues

- Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately

- Work efficiently to minimise guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy

- Make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events

- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs

- Be familiar with all fulfilment services and know how to direct guests to enrol, activate, and use them

- Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and other features and offerings within the Target App

- Attempt every return and follow register prompts

- Partner with leaders as needed to de-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience

- Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests

- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area

- Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for guests

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

Requirements:

- Enjoy interacting and helping others

- Thrive in a fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding role

- Open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts

- Communicate effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests' needs

- Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and other team members

- Attention to detail while multi-tasking

- Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed

- Work both independently and with a team

- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
