## Description

As a Senior Manager, Data Analyst - AML MADI at Capital One, you will partner cross-functionally with teams to validate business-impacting analytical tools, enhancing your technical and analytical skills while influencing business strategies.

You will refine a new enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework, plan and execute validation projects, assess tool methodologies, and communicate results effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Refine a new Enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework

- Plan and execute validation projects

- Assess the quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies across Capital One

- Understand technical issues in analytical tools and assess risks and opportunities

- Independently research industry best practices for emerging analytical tools

- Communicate results clearly and concisely via reports and presentations

- Leverage education and training to develop solutions to business problems

- Coach and mentor junior staff

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities, as well as communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with 7+ years of data analytics experience

- Master's Degree with 5+ years of data analytics experience

- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience

- 5+ years of experience with open-source data technologies

- 2+ years of experience managing people

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree or PhD in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research

- 7+ years of statistical or econometrics experience

- 5+ years of experience with large data sets, financial services, statistical or econometric models, and model validation

- 2+ years of experience with data governance and predictive analytics

This role is a hybrid position, requiring adherence to Capital One's hybrid policy.

The salary ranges for this role are:

- Plano, TX: $182,500 - $208,300

- McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100

- Richmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300

- Chicago, IL: $182,500 - $208,300

This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
