## Description

We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant, you will work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing high-quality patient-centred care. You will work within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care, maintain and enhance customer service and satisfaction of service users under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a high standard of patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants and colleagues

- Work within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care

- Maintain and enhance customer service and satisfaction of service users

- Demonstrate competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope of your working areas

- Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Requirements:

- Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role

- Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations

- Care Certificate

- NVQ Level 1 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent

- Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent

- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence

Salary and Benefits:

- Up to £26,061.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
