## Description

We are seeking a Principal - Cybersecurity Asset Intelligence to lead our organisation's cybersecurity operations team, focusing on incident response, threat monitoring, and executing cybersecurity strategies to safeguard systems, data, and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will serve as a coach and mentor to security professionals, build operational processes aligned with best practices, and partner with engineering, IT, and business to protect critical systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead complex responses to computer security incidents, coordinating with multiple business units and providing updates and recommendations.

- Oversee root cause analysis and ensure lessons learned are integrated into improved processes and protections.

- Monitor security-related intelligence sources to maintain situational awareness of current attacks and trends.

- Collaborate with Cybersecurity Engineering teams to communicate risks and recommend security enhancements.

- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, standard operating procedures, and incident response playbooks.

- Manage, coach, and mentor cybersecurity operations staff, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.

**Requirements:**

- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related subject.

- Understanding of industrial cybersecurity controls and solutions across multiple facets.

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and build organisational capability.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven experience in cybersecurity management or equivalent leadership role.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials Certification.

- GIAC Security Leadership Certification.

- Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Certified Information Security Manager.

- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security.

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
