## Description

IOM is seeking a Data Visualization Reporting Officer Consultant A to work remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and visualizing complex data to support the production of engaging and actionable reports and information products.

**Project Context and Scope** The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) gathers and analyzes data to disseminate critical multi-layered information on the mobility, vulnerabilities, and needs of displaced and mobile populations.

**Responsibilities**

- Analyze and visualize complex DTM and other data to support the production of engaging and actionable reports and information products.

- Contribute to the design and development of regular reports and information products.

- Closely coordinate with the Global DTM Analytical, Knowledge and Output (AKO) unit to facilitate alignment of all outputs with global DTM Standards.

- Identify and coordinate additional analyses and data visualizations.

- Organise dissemination products and presentations that highlight key findings, definitions, and trends.

- Research, analyze, draft and format internal and external programme reports and documents.

- Liaise with relevant authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders on DTM and reporting matters.

**Qualifications**

- Master's degree in data science, Geography, Business Administration, International Relations, Political Science, Communications, Information Management, Computer Science or a related field.

- Two years of relevant professional experience.

- Experience working in international organizations and the humanitarian community is welcome.

- Experience with data visualization software (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau) and publication software (e.g. InDesign, Microsoft Publisher) is a distinct advantage.

**Skills**

- Statistical analysis (STATA, SPSS, etc) skills are highly desirable.

- Ability to work with graphical software (e.g. Microsoft Powerpoint, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign).

- Data collection, research, and report writing skills are required.

- Excellent writing skills in English are required, knowledge in Arabic is an advantage.
