## Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team at Carolinas Neurosurgery and Spine in Matthews, North Carolina.

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating patients, selecting and administering assessment techniques, and developing individualized care plans.

Key responsibilities include:

- Evaluating patients and creating personalized care plans

- Gathering and interpreting data from medical records, physician reports, and patient interactions

- Establishing functional goals with patients and providing evidence-based interventions

- Documenting patient progress, treatments, and outcomes

- Communicating with physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff

- Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

- A valid state license for Physical Therapy

- Basic Life Support certification

In terms of physical demands, the role requires:

- Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading

- Intelligible speech and sufficient language/cognitive skills

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead

- Lifting of patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally

- Lateral transfer of patients up to 100 pounds
