## Description

You will be the operational lead responsible for delivering hard services across ABM's Amazon sites throughout the UK.

Your primary focus will be on fostering a “can do” culture through strong external customer relationships, while proactively driving additional revenue sources.

Key responsibilities include preparing financial information relating to all works undertaken to evidence profitability and operational costs, and delivering operational & fiscal aspects of the contract with accurate management of the IT platform.

You will also be expected to oversee all resources within the contract functions to drive efficiencies, profitability, and end-to-end processes, including the delivery and actual invoicing of the account.

To succeed in this role, you will need to understand the client’s principal objectives and strategies, and seek ways to collaborate in achieving agreed goals.

You will provide advice and innovations on sustainable practices, and work closely with the Business Development team to share relationships and cross-sell opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background in the M&E industry, with proven successful working relationships with high-end service providers.

Strong leadership qualities, commercial awareness, and business acumen are essential, as well as proficient IT skills in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Awareness of ISO 9001 and 50001 quality management standards is also desirable.

As an Account Manager at ABM, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

- Exceptional customer relationship skills

- Identifying and developing new opportunities, generating sales as per individual targets

- Excellent planning, change, and time management capabilities

- Ensuring all opportunities are responded to in a timely manner and to a high standard

- Working closely with the Business Development team to share relationships and cross-sell opportunities

- Effective, ongoing, and structured management of Site Managers, including goal setting and objective planning

- Ongoing Health and Safety reviews across contract portfolios

- Leadership ability and mentoring of key technical staff

- Regular reviews with Managers to ensure full compliance

- Strong communication across all aspects of the business

- Holding and executing Probationary/Disciplinary hearings

- Full P&L responsibility for contracts

- Analytical reporting of portfolio performance

- Monthly, weekly, quarterly, and annual reporting of portfolio fiscal performance

- Technical support to contact management

- Suggesting alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and/or longer life
