## Description

We're seeking an experienced Model Maker to join our team, focusing on assembling models, preparing parts and assemblies for our Aerodynamic program to enhance the car's speed. You'll collaborate with various departments, including Model Design, Mechanical Design, Aerodynamics, and Additive Manufacturing, to provide parts for wind tunnel testing.

**Responsibilities**

- Model Making: Develop our wind tunnel model and testing program with the model shop staff and Aero department. Investigate new technologies and concepts for parts and procedures. Communicate effectively with external groups to ensure timely testing of parts. Execute day-to-day tasks with attention to detail and manage timelines for high-quality models and parts.

- Professionalism: Maintain flexibility in attendance and attitude, working professionally at all times. Promote a positive image for the department, team, and sponsors. Foster a positive work environment and maintain good relationships with staff and support workers.

**Requirements**

- Previous automotive experience, ideally with engineering background and preferably in F1.

- Strong understanding of high-quality part manufacture and model assembly techniques, including mechanical systems.

- Flexibility to work weekends and shifts as required.

- Ability to scope tasks thoroughly, work under pressure, and deliver timely information.

- Willingness to help improve processes and work professionally with colleagues.
