## Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer to join our leading Financial Services Regulatory Team in Frankfurt or Berlin.

Our team, led by partners Dr. Richard Reimer and Dr. Sarah Wrage, advises national and international banks, financial institutions, payment service providers, and investment management companies on all aspects of German and European regulatory law.

As a Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer, you will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive advice on banking, financial, and payment services law, including institutional and product-specific regulatory law, regulatory issues related to investment structures, and BaFin permit procedures.

You will also have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including advising on FinTechs, app-based banking products, BNPL models, and new payment solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Provide advice on financial services regulatory law

- Conduct regulatory analysis and risk assessments

- Develop and implement compliance strategies

- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

- Two fully satisfactory legal state exams

- Ideally, relevant professional experience in Financial Services Regulatory (in-house or in a law firm)

- Excellent English language skills

- Outstanding communication skills and business acumen

- Desirable: first foreign experience, PhD or LLM degree from an English-speaking country
