## Description

Job Title: Galley Steward - SP

As a Galley Steward with Princess Cruises, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our galleys and service locations. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and embark on a career adventure like no other!

Responsibilities:

- Follow Princess Cruises' operational methods and seek advice from the Galley Supervisor if necessary.

- Follow USPHS principles and Princess Cruises procedures at all times.

- Work as part of a cleaning team responsible for consistently cleaning and sanitizing specific galley equipment and service locations.

- Recycle cooking service equipment before, during, and after service.

- Assist when required to unload and store food deliveries.

- Participate in scheduled deep cleaning in addition to everyday cleaning operations.

- Treat all equipment used during the cleaning process and all equipment to be cleaned with care to prevent damage.

- Report equipment defects to the Galley Supervisor / Executive Chef / Food Manager on a daily basis.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

- Thorough knowledge of USPH practices and procedures.

- Good oral and written command of the English language.

- Experienced in cruise ship industry galley operation.

- Working knowledge of scientific cleaning and sanitation procedures for the food service industry.
