## Description

Leidos Defense, Systems Integration and Test Team, is seeking an Associate Test Engineer. The team works to implement unique solutions for complex problems in the defense sector, including kinetic and directed energy defensive and offensive platforms, RADAR, and other surveillance and sensor technologies.

**Primary Responsibilities**

- Creating, modifying, and executing test plans to satisfy program requirements.

- Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.

- Briefing internal and external parties on test results and data.

- Minimal travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year).

**Basic Qualifications**

- ABET-accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with 2+ years of prior experience, or Master's degree in a related field.

- Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.

- Direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting, and testing.

- Familiarity with tracking test results, defects, and verification evidence.

- Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

- US Citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

- The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- 2+ years of experience with test planning and execution.

- Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator).

- Working knowledge of software languages Python and LabVIEW.

- General experience with Linux, MATLAB, and Wireshark.

**Pay Range:** $69,550.00 - $125,725.00
