WUSA9, the official television station of the Washington Commanders, is seeking a dynamic Senior Sports Producer to redefine local sports coverage. As a key leader in sports coverage, you will collaborate with anchors, reporters, producers, and the digital team to shape the WUSA9 sports brand.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the production of dynamic, multi-platform sports content

- Leverage exclusive access to the Washington Commanders to identify stories and develop partnerships

- Innovate with live and event-driven coverage

- Be a newsroom leader and inspire a shared vision with anchors, reporters, and producers

- Expand WUSA9's footprint in sports storytelling

- Fill in as a newscast producer during major news cycles or events

Requirements:

- Be a social media pro, adept at spotting and amplifying trends

- Understand that sports are about people, passion, and community

- Thrive under pressure, juggling multiple priorities across platforms

- Be ready to embrace the evolving media landscape
