### Senior Product Manager, Core People Technology

Deliveroo, now part of DoorDash, is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its Core People Technology team in London. This hybrid role reports to the Senior Manager, People Product.

### About the team

The People Technology team builds and runs systems for hire, transfer, leave, pay change, and offboarding for the workforce across DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt. The team's mission is to make the operational backbone of People Operations invisible, reliable, compliant, and scalable across dozens of markets.

### About the role

As the first dedicated product manager for Core, you will be responsible for turning inbound requests into a defensible plan, building intake frameworks and partnerships, and working hands-on with analysts and engineers. Your goal will be to create a clear, ranked plan, explain the reasoning behind it, and communicate deferred items.

### Responsibilities

- Own the prioritized order of work for Core, building a clear plan and explaining the reasoning behind it

- Turn vague or incomplete partner requests into documented problems, mapped current-state processes, and testable outcomes

- Partner directly with People Operations, Compliance, Payroll, Total Rewards, and Business Systems Analysts

- Work hands-on with analysts and engineers to shape, size, and write tickets

- Build and evolve the operating model across the analyst and engineering pod

- Use AI tools to accelerate translation of inbound requests into structured requirements and plans

- Escalate proactively on statutory or audit exposure, cross-space dependencies, and trade-offs

- Report progress and delivery against plan to partners and leadership

### Requirements

- Experience owning a product or systems area end-to-end with real decision rights

- Hands-on background with Workday or a comparable HRIS as a product manager or technical program manager

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize when demand exceeds capacity

- Proven delivery in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

- Experience translating partner requests into well-defined problems and testable outcomes

- Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Practical fluency with AI tools for requirements drafting and documentation
