## Description

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Cyber Security Directorate (CSD) is leading one of the most comprehensive, mission critical cybersecurity operations in the federal government,protecting the digital infrastructure that safeguards America’s borders.

The Asset Management Analyst Junior contributes to maintaining asset inventories and ensuring accurate records. In this mission critical leadership position, you will:

- Operate within a cybersecurity‑focused mission environment, ensuring that asset data remains reliable for operational and compliance requirements.

- Maintain and update asset inventories to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Assist with asset lifecycle tracking (procurement, deployment, maintenance, disposition).

- Validate discovered hardware and software assets.

- Support asset reconciliation efforts and help resolve data discrepancies.

- Assist in preparing asset management reports.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Minimum of three (3) years of professional relevant experience.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.

- Experience performing routine asset record updates, correct discrepancies, and validate system‑discovered assets to maintain authoritative data sources.

- Foundational understanding of asset management processes, databases, or discovery tools (training provided as needed).

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across large datasets.

- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple technical and operational stakeholders.

- Basic knowledge of asset databases or CMDB structures.

The likely salary range for this position is $61,402 - $74,750.
