## Description

Diversity matters at Lush, where we're building a brand that represents the people of the world. We're looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our in-house Brand Legal team, providing strategic legal support to our Digital and Tech teams.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, super sharp, solutions-focused lawyer with experience in marketing and commercial contracts. You'll provide first-class service as a strategic legal business partner, advising, steering and unblocking legal challenges to enable fast-paced innovation and global digital consumer marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing legal service to Digital and Tech teams on user experience, consumer law compliance, and digital services

- Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting contracts for creative services, PR agency agreements, influencer and talent agreements, and more

- Collaborating with internal commercial teams to advise on campaign compliance, marketing copy, and consumer law

- Demonstrating strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

- Delivering regular training sessions to the business

The team works collaboratively to support all commercial teams, including PR, Collaborations, B2B, Events, Marketing, and Brand. You'll thrive in an environment that asks you to deliver at pace, juggle competing priorities, and support bespoke initiatives.

## Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

- English law-qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years PQE

- Essential in-house experience supporting a global brand on multi-jurisdictional matters

- Proven experience advising on tech and digital projects, including software licensing, data privacy, and e-commerce

- Strong technical grounding in commercial, marketing, and contract law

- Demonstrated expertise drafting and negotiating commercial contracts

- Meticulous attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
