## Description

## Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning System Manager (Anaplan) to join our Global Supply Chain team at tonies UK Ltd. in Düsseldorf. As the technical and functional backbone of our global planning ecosystem, you will serve as the primary System Owner and Architect for the Anaplan platform.

## Key Responsibilities

### Planning System Ownership & Governance

- Define and execute the long-term Anaplan roadmap, ensuring the system evolves alongside tonies' planning maturity.

- Act as the ultimate guardian of model logic, ensuring that formulas, hierarchies, and versions remain accurate, performant, and in strict adherence to modeling standards and governance protocols.

- Manage user roles, permissions, and workspace security to protect sensitive commercial and supply chain data.

- Plan and manage multiple system initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

### Anaplan Configuration & Expert Support

- Lead the build, refinement, and scaling of modules, dashboards, and 'what-if' scenario modeling capabilities, successfully translating complex business challenges into technical concepts and planning logics.

- Act as the Level 3 support for global users, troubleshooting complex logic issues and optimizing model performance.

- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all new features, ensuring technical deployments meet functional business needs.

### Master Data & Signal Integrity

- Own the planning master data strategy, including product hierarchies, location attributes, and lifecycle flags.

- Partner with IT to automate data flows and implement validation checks to prevent 'garbage-in-garbage-out' scenarios.

- Ensure data alignment among Demand, Supply, and Finance to maintain a unified global plan.

### Training, Enablement & Adoption

- Develop and deliver training programs for Market Demand Planners and Supply Chain Managers to drive system adoption.

- Maintain comprehensive 'Playbooks' that translate technical system steps into standard business routines.

- Foster a global user community to promote and implement development best practices, while collaborating with other Anaplan developers throughout the wider organization to optimize ecosystem performance.

### Innovation & Advanced Analytics Advisory

- Partner with the Forecasting Manager to prototype and scale ML/AI capabilities within or alongside Anaplan.

- Proactively identify manual workarounds and replace them with automated, scalable solutions to drive continuous innovation across financial systems, supply chain processes, and general Anaplan adoption.

- Stay abreast of Anaplan's product releases and industry trends to advise leadership on new value-adding features.

## Requirements

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan model building, including comprehensive testing and user training (Level 2 or 3 Certified Model Builder preferred).

- Deep understanding of Supply Chain Planning (Demand, Supply, S&OP) in a multi-channel consumer goods environment, featuring at least 2+ years of focused domain experience in Supply or Merchandise planning with a track record of streamlining workflows.

- High proficiency in data integration (Informatica, MuleSoft, or similar) and SQL. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.

- Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into elegant, scalable, and efficient multidimensional models, with a background in transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and senior business leadership.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and exceptionally effective at managing deliverables within fast-paced, dynamic growth environments.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

- Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
