## Description

As a Medical Assistant and Scribe at Intermountain Health's Cancer Clinic in Logan, Utah, you will provide care to patients with acute and chronic needs in an ambulatory clinic setting.

Responsibilities:

- Provide patient care under the direction of clinicians

- Communicate effectively with patients through various modalities, including telephone and in-person interactions

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program, or at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience, or a current active RN/LPN license in Utah

- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

- Demonstrated basic computer skills and professional manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in an outpatient clinic or healthcare setting

- Computer literacy in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

- National MA certification (RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or CMA)

Shift Details:

- 40 hours/week, full-time

- Monday to Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flexibility depending on patient load
