## Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Space Vehicle EO/IR Integration and Test Engineer to join our Space Assembly, Integration, and Test team.

As the Senior Space Vehicle EO/IR Integration and Test Engineer, you will lead satellite integration and testing campaigns, focusing on EO/IR systems such as photon detecting imagers from visible through long wave infrared wavebands, thermal sensors, and LIDAR and laser range finders. You will develop integration plans and procedures, resolve test anomalies, manage test campaign schedules, and conduct environmental tests such as thermal vacuum, shock, vibration, EMI/EMC, and acoustics testing.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading end-to-end integration and test campaigns for space vehicles, focusing on EO/IR payloads Developing and implementing integration and test plans, along with associated operational procedures Managing schedules and timelines for space vehicle I&T operations to meet project deliverables Diagnosing and resolving anomalies or non-conformances encountered during integration and testing processes Conducting environmental test campaigns, including thermal vacuum, shock, vibration, EMI/EMC, and acoustics testing Utilizing and modifying test scripts for test automation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting during space vehicle testing Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including systems, thermal, mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software engineers, to ensure integration and test success

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, System Engineering, or a similar field, and at least 8+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably space and satellite manufacturing, systems engineering, or design of EO/IR hardware.

The salary range for this role is $146,000-$194,000 USD.
