## Description

We are seeking a Systems Software Engineer to join the EA SPORTS NHL team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a Systems Software Engineer, you will work on improving performance, utility, and capabilities of game and engine systems. Your responsibilities will include:

- Integrating primary technologies and features in a massive codebase

- Improving memory, load times, and performance

- Debugging defects in development environments

- Automating tasks and enhancing workflows

- Contributing to core EA technologies

- Collaborating with technical and non-technical coworkers

- Mentoring other software engineering team members

Requirements:

- 5+ years of C++ development experience

- Experience with software engineering and architectural design

- Understanding of memory management, file systems, multi-core processing, and performance

- Experience with profiling tools and build systems

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

- Experience with large-scale systems and legacy codebases

- Familiarity with multiple programming languages

- Previous experience shipping console products

- Experience with assembly and AI-assisted development tools
