As a Braider in our Hairlab department, you'll have developed a high standard skill set in Afro hairdressing, including protective styling such as braiding, blow outs, and silk pressing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional braiding services, including cornrows, knotless, box braids, stitch, feed-in, and creative designs

- Maintain scalp health during long-term braided styles

- Offer excellent haircuts, washes, and styling

- Welcome clients with extensions or weaves

- Develop a high standard skill set in Afro hairdressing

- Demonstrate knowledge of braid preparation, tension control, and safe takedown techniques

- Understand how to care for and maintain Locs

- Collaborate with clients to carve out their true hair identity

- Educate clients on hair and scalp health

- Contribute to a supportive working environment

- Assist with retail sales and consultations

- Support shops and attend events to promote new hair care product or service launches
