## Description

We are seeking a Simulation Engineer to join our team at AVL List Technical Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Chengdu, China.

As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for power unit/e-drive NVH simulations using Abaqus and AVL Excite PU. Your tasks will include:

- Performing power unit or EDU modal analysis using Abaqus

- Conducting power unit or EDU multi-body dynamics analysis using AVL Excite PU

- Writing technical reports in English

- Making presentations in English and Chinese for customers

- Liaising with customers on project-related matters

- Supporting other skill teams

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, or materials science

- At least 3 years of experience in FE simulation and multi-body dynamics analysis

- A solid understanding of basic physical and numerical methods

- Pro-active, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with analytical problem-solving skills

- Experience with Abaqus, AVL Excite PU, ANSA, and Kiss-Soft is preferred

- Good knowledge of engine, e-motor, EDU, and NVH principles

- Excellent presentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese

- Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality results under tight deadlines
