## Description

Splunk, a Cisco company, is seeking a Federal Sales Leader to drive growth and sell enterprise software solutions to PBST Sector Agencies. You will lead a high-performing sales team and consistently deliver revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver revenue targets quarter over quarter and year over year

- Forecast quarterly and annual revenue numbers for assigned region

- Direct sales activities within the assigned area and provide mentorship to the team

- Coach sales team to uncover customer needs and develop champions

Minimum qualifications:

- 5 years of direct sales leadership experience as a first-line people manager

- Current residence in CO, WA, AZ, OR, or IL

- Current legal authorization to work in the United States

- Willingness to travel up to 40-50% within the assigned regional territory

Preferred qualifications:

- 3 years of sales leadership experience managing teams selling software to SLED customers

- 7 or more years of direct quota-carrying software sales experience

- Demonstrated experience leading software sales teams within high-growth, matrixed organizational environments

- Experience preparing and delivering executive-level business proposals and formal presentations
