## Description

We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to join our team in Birmingham. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will take responsibility for delivering projects in line with client expectations.

Responsibilities:

- Direct others in producing detailed performance specifications for electrical building services

- Review design programmes to ensure sufficient resources are available to meet technical and commercial performance targets

- Work independently with minimal supervision on technical aspects of electrical building services design

- Supervise detailed designs and mentor staff

- Lead feasibility studies for projects

Requirements:

- Proven track record of delivering UK Building Services electrical design projects

- Ability to engage with clients, contractors, and design teams in technical discussions

- Strong communication skills, with ability to sketch and convey technical details graphically

- Detailed understanding of relevant regulations and electrical design software packages such as AMTECH or Electrical OM software

- Experience with Revit MEP or other 3D design software

- Must be able to obtain UK Security Check (SC) vetting level
