## Description

We are seeking a Claims Expert who is passionate about resolving complex claims and delivering excellent customer satisfaction. As a Claims Expert at Aviva Canada, you will manage complex claims files proactively and efficiently, assess damages, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Manage complex claims files (automotive, residential, or commercial) in a proactive and efficient manner

- Assess damages, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

- Collaborate with experts, lawyers, and other stakeholders to resolve claims

- Maintain clear and empathetic communication with customers throughout the process

- Communicate effectively with customers, partners, and colleagues in French and English, both verbally and in writing

- Provide support for special projects and initiatives related to governance and reporting

- Contribute to continuous improvement of claims management processes and practices

Requirements:

- Valid Claims Expert permit issued by the AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers)

- Fluency in French

- Intermediate to advanced level of English proficiency

- Proven experience in managing complex claims

- In-depth knowledge of insurance products and applicable regulations

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a bilingual environment and complying with regulatory requirements

- Experience with commercial and automotive claims

- Familiarity with digital tools and claims management systems
